Catalogue of the group exhibition The Sun's Path. With graphic design by Elaine Ramos, the trilingual publication – Portuguese, English, Japanese – includes reproductions of artworks, installation views of the show, a curatorial text by Yudi Rafael, an interview with Roberto Okinaka, and an introduction by Luisa Duarte.
With exhibit design by Anna Ferrari, the exhibition unravels the narratives related to the Japanese diaspora in Latin America. To this end, it brings together a selection of the production of Japanese diasporic artists alongside Latin American names whose works are intertwined with Japanese visual culture based on local cultural and political references.
